My name is Michele Perkins, and I am passionate about all things storytelling! For over 20 years, I have had the joy of teaching Acting, Voice, and Scriptwriting at a performing arts school, as well as Writing, Research, Critical Thinking, and AP Language and Literature at both the secondary and college levels.
I hold an M.A. in English and Creative Writing, along with extensive studio training in Musical Theater and Theatre Production. In 2023, I earned a Master's degree in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre. With 21 years of professional experience as a singer, actress, and educator, I have been fortunate to guide many students toward top-performing arts colleges and thriving careers in film, theater, law, marketing, and beyond.
I am excited to offer performing arts courses and curriculum enrichment opportunities for homeschool students. I have included a list of the classes I currently teach, but I am always open to suggestions based on student needs and interests.
I am an approved Step-Up for Students scholarship provider.
